About Bill Murphy, Resilience Keynote Sepeaker
Achievement Is Not the Same as
Fulfillment
You can hit the number.
Win the award.
Reach the finish line.
Build the career.
And still realize something needs to change.
About
Bill Murphy knows because he lived it.
For years, Bill built his success by putting his head down and outworking everyone around him. That mindset helped him become a top producer in mortgage and real estate and gave him the drive to complete Ironmans, marathons, and extreme endurance challenges.
On paper, it worked.
But eventually, Bill realized there was a difference between being driven and being truly committed.

Bill Learned to Do Hard Things.
Then He Learned Why He Was Doing Them.
For much of Bill’s life, achievement was fueled by something deeper.
Growing up with a traumatic relationship with his father left him with feelings of shame, anger, fear, and unworthiness. Proving people wrong became powerful fuel.
Until it wasn’t.
As Bill began doing the inner work, he realized that constantly chasing the next accomplishment had taken a toll. He had learned how to achieve, but he had not always stopped to consider what was driving him or what that pursuit was costing the people and relationships that mattered.
That realization changed the way Bill approaches success today.
He still believes in setting big goals. He still believes in doing hard things. And he absolutely believes in taking action.
But now, it comes from a different place.

Commitment That Goes Beyond the Finish Line
Today, Bill Murphy is a keynote speaker, high-performance coach, sales leader, author, and endurance athlete who helps people turn meaningful goals into meaningful action.
His message is not about getting fired up for an hour.
It is about learning how to keep moving after motivation fades.
Drawing from decades in sales and leadership, more than 10 years of coaching, extreme endurance challenges, and his own personal transformation, Bill helps audiences rethink what it means to perform at a high level.
They learn to pivot instead of quit, let go of habits that hold them back, build stronger reasons for pursuing what matters, and take consistent action when conditions are far from perfect.
And just as importantly, they learn that high performance is not only about themselves.
Through more than 20 years of involvement with Make-A-Wish, Bill has learned the power of focusing on others and bringing people with you.
Because success means more when the people around you are succeeding too.
The greatest finish line you'll ever cross is the one you carry
someone else across.
Give Your People More Than Motivation
Your people already know how to set goals.
Bill uses storytelling to help them understand what it takes to stay committed to those goals when the excitement wears off, the market changes, the work gets difficult, or the original plan stops working.
It gives audiences something they can take back to their careers, teams, goals, and lives long after the event is over.
